The previous Yamaha P7000S had the function of using one input channel for both amplifier channels, so I was able to use 4 power amplifier channels for the DBA with a Y cable from each Altitude output channel.
The new power amplifiers do not have this function, so I could not use the new power amplifiers for the DBA.
To recreate your original DBA setup using the new amps, could you use the Trinnov output matrix to copy the LFE channel to each of your subs' output channels with amps in place as used in the WF setup, and then tune the delay and phase inversion in the rear subs? If you make a preset of this alternate DBA setup, you should be able to quickly switch between WF and DBA modes for better comparison.
