This is a small update with small improvements (bigger updates will come with upcoming r24 versions).

• 8K, Pro Vision 4K models: Bugfix: Output of DD+ Atmos in bitstream mode from some Android apps did not work in some cases.

• 8K models: Bugfix: Playback of DV5 or DV8 video files could cause reboot in some cases.

• 8K models: Bugfix: Playback of AV1 video files could cause reboot in some cases (after pause and screensaver).

• 8K models: Bugfix: Power LED brightness level could be wrong in some cases (depending on hardware revision).

• All models: Bugfix: SMB browser could not connect to the SMB server running on ATV Dune HD media player models (using 10445 port) in some cases.

• All models: Bugfix: Local trailers (the new function added in the previous firmware) did not work for .ISO files in some cases.

• All models: Bugfix: Download of plugin online update could fail in some cases.

• All models: Bugfixes needed to support changes in some plugins.

• All models: Some UI translations updated.

• All models: Small other fixes and internal changes.

• Note: this update also includes all changes listed below (see version 240930_2301_r22).

• 8K models: The S928X SDK update has been integrated, which is critical to improve stability in some сases. No visible changes are expected, but theoretically, since this is a significant update, it could accidentally affect some functions.

• 8K models: Added "Internal player (Hi-Fi)" playback engine for audio files - now available also on models which have no built-in Hi-Fi audio output. Now this playback engine supports high-quality bit-perfect audio output not only to the built-in Hi-Fi audio output, but also to external USB DACs (using direct exclusive USB connection to the USB DAC to bypass all Android OS specific limitations). The use of this playback engine for USB DACs is not enabled by default, it can be enabled via the setting "Playback - Preferences - Player for audio files". It can also be used by pressing POP UP MENU in the file browser and choosing "Play with... Internal player (Hi-Fi)". "Internal player (Hi-Fi)" playback engine can also be useful as a solution for "gapless-mode" playback of audio files to HDMI (however, this playback engine is optimized for and supports native sample rate output only when using built-in Hi-Fi audio output or to USB DAC; when using HDMI audio output, this playback engine does not support native sample rate).

• Pro Vision 4K model: Bugfix: When using SPDIF output and playing DD+ audio, sound could be absent on SPDIF, depending on the EDID of the connected HDMI TV. Now, DD+ can be converted and output as DD (HD audio should be disabled in settings).

• Pro Vision 4K model: Bugfix: The use of the RESET button for navigation in the Recovery menu was not working, now it works (single-press = DOWN, long-press = SELECT).

• Pro 8K Plus model: Bugfix: "Setup - Misc - Display - Show additional icons" setting (previously added for other models) was missing for this model.

• Max 8K model: Bugfix: The default values of some settings related to audio playback could be wrong in some cases.

• 8K, Pro Vision 4K, AV1 4K models: Improved support for "R3" and "R4" Bluetooth remotes in Android apps, now the keys A/B/C/D/INFO/AUD/SUB/SETUP should work in Android apps which support these keys.

• 8K, Pro Vision 4K, AV1 4K models: Minor label improvements in "Setup - Video" menu.

• All models: New feature: Trailers from local files now can be used for Netflix-like trailer preview in My Collection. How to use: put "terminator-trailer.mp4" near "terminator.mkv" (or near "terminator.iso", or near "Terminator-Blu-ray" folder containing "BDMV" subfolder); index My Collection; confirm "terminator-trailer.mp4" as "Trailer" association for the movie (for example, choose the trailer video file in the file browser - press POP UP MENU button - choose "Edit Movie Information"). To download trailers from Internet, software like yt-dlp ( https://github.com/yt-dlp/yt-dlp#release-files ) can be used (for example: yt-dlp -f "bestvideo[ext=mp4]+bestaudio[ext=m4a]/best[ext=mp4]/best" -o terminator-trailer.mp4 "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nGrW-OR2uDk").

• All models: Bugfix: Aspect ratio could be wrong when playing DVD-Video in some cases.

• All models: Bugfix: Player could hang when playing specific MP4 files over HTTP in some cases.

• All models: Bugfix: Firmware version of R4 remote updated from 01.01.18 to 01.01.19 (better AirMouse behavior when RCU is upside-down).

• All models: Bugfix: The function of OTA firmware update for Bluetooth RCU now has a special handling for "R3" remote and RCU firmware version "211223_1200": the RCU will not auto-update from this firmware version (to allow the use of this alternative version).

• All models: Bugfix: Online subtitles did not work properly in some cases.

• All models: Bugfix: New GUI global search function did not search correctly in My Collection.

• All models: Bugfix: Deletion of Android app could wrongly request confirmation twice.

• All models: Bugfix: When playing IPTV streams, output of DD/DTS audio to SPDIF could not work in some cases (when HDMI EDID did not support DD/DTS).

• All models: Bugfix: The use of the "dune_folder.txt" file for setting the custom storage name did not affect the SMB share name (and some other things) in some cases.

• All models: Bugfix: When connecting multiple storage devices with the same name, it could work with problems in some cases.

• All models: Bugfix: Auto start of item from favorites did not work when the item was corresponding to a folder.

• All models: Bugfix: Plugins: The maximum number of favorite channels was limited to 99. Now it can be more than 100.

• All models: Bugfix: Plugins: Update did not work in some cases if the update URL contained parameters.

• All models: Bugfix: UI animation worked wrongly in some cases on the on-screen keyboard.

• All models: Bugfix: The function of hiding empty Android folders in the built-in memory folder worked wrongly in some cases.
